Halo The Master Chief Collection Coming 2019
What to expect so far
From May 3 through May 20, 2019 Halo: Reach was in a phase of development which included a variety of new features such as, expanded customization options for unlocking and purchasing armor pieces in the game, and a new ranking system. As of now we know 343 Industries are embarking on a journey with the community to build a PC experience that delivers many PC gamer expectations. With 343 Industries and Microsoft teaming up to make this 14 year long wait come true is truly unbelievable!
After decades of waiting we finally get to experience the Halo franchise on PC which includes, Halo and Halo 2 through 4 along with ODST and Reach. In total, the Master Chief Collection will have over 120 multiplayer maps and 67 campaign missions-which should be enough to keep you occupied for quite sometime. The idea behind this is to "evolve and grow" the collection over time with community input, so it's more likely that we'll see more features added to each game after launch.
What we know as of now
Halo Reach will be out the door first, with the rest of the series being scheduled throughout the year. Reach will have a reward system that allows you to unlock decals and other accessories for your suit of armor. Unlike before on console players only had the option to simply rank up and do specific missions to unlock certain designs and armor for their avatar. Halo Reach will also have dedicated individual servers for firefight and multiplayer campaign. These dedicated servers will now take the brunt work and each player's client will sync with it separately instead of waiting for each other. Although Halo 5 isn’t coming to PC we can always wait for Halo 6 which will be coming in the year 2020.
